Say: "Who could protect you, by night or by day, from the Most Gracious?" And yet, from a remembrance of their Sustainer do they stubbornly turn away! 42 Or have they gods who can shield them from Us? They cannot help themselves nor can they be defended from Us. 43 But in fact We have given these (disbelievers) and their fathers a benefit to the extent that life became long for them; so do they not see that We are reducing the land from its borders? So will these be victorious? 44 Say: 'I warn you only by the Revelation' But the deaf hear nothing when they are warned. 45 yet if even a breath of your Lord's punishment touched them, they would say, "Woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers." 46 We shall maintain proper justice on the Day of Judgment. No soul will be wronged the least. For a deed even as small as a mustard seed one will duly be recompensed. We are efficient in maintaining the account. 47 And indeed We gave Moosa and Haroon the Judgement* and a light and an advice for the pious. (* The Holy Book Taurat.) 48 Those who fear their Lord in their most secret thoughts, and who hold the Hour (of Judgment) in awe. 49 This is a blessed remembrance, sent down by Us; so do you deny it? 50
