Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.
