۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
