The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 Shu'ayb asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 177 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption, 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 And most surely your Lord is Mighty, the Merciful. 191
