۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
