The present life is nothing but sport and amusement. The true life is in the Abode of the Hereafter; if only they knew. 64 And so, when they embark on a ship [and find themselves in danger,] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone; but as soon as He has brought them safe ashore, they [begin to] ascribe to imaginary powers a share in His divinity: 65 And deny what We had given them, in order to go on enjoying themselves. They will come to know soon. 66 Are they, then, not aware that We have set up a sanctuary secure [for those who believe in Us,] the while all around them men are being carried away [by fear and despair]? Will they, then, [continue to] believe in things false and vain, and thus deny God's blessings. 67 And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a [sufficient] residence for the disbelievers? 68 As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism). And verily, Allah is with the Muhsinun (good doers)." 69
