۞ O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike 19 the shadows and the light, 20 Nor shade and heat of sunshine. 21 nor are the living and the dead alike. Allah makes to hear whomsoever He wishes, but you, (O Prophet), cannot cause to hear those who are in their graves. 22 thou art naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it. 24 And if they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs, and with the Scriptures, and the book giving light. 25 Then I seized those who denied the Truth, and how terrible was My punishment! 26
