Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And all that ye see not 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
