Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
