The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
