And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
