▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
