A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 And a multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the later times (generations). 40 And those on the left hand: What of those on the left hand? 41 They will live amid the scorching, 42 And the shade of black smoke, 43 which will neither be cool nor soothing. 44 They were endowed with good things 45 And persisted obstinately in wickedness supreme! 46 And they were wont to say: when we have died and become dust and bones, shall we, then, verily be raised? 47 And so will our fathers?" 48 Say: "Indeed, the earlier and the later generations 49 Will be gathered together on a certain day which is predetermined. 50 Then verily ye, O ye erring, denying people. 51 Most surely eat of a tree of Zaqqoom, 52 Then will fill your bellies with it. 53 and drink boiling water on top of that, 54 You shall drink it as the thirsty camels drink." 55 This is their entertainment on the day of requital. 56 We created you, then why do you believe not? 57 Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. 58 Do you create a child out of it, or are We its creators? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 from changing your Forms and creating you (again) in (forms) that ye know not. 61 And you have indeed learnt about the first creation, so why do you not ponder? 62 Ponder upon the soil you till, 63 Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the causers of growth? 64 [For,] were it Our will, We could indeed turn it into chaff, and you would be left to wonder [and to lament,] 65 Surely we are burdened with debt: 66 nay, we have been robbed!' 67 Have you thought about the water you drink? 68 Did you send it down from the clouds, or did We send it? 69 If We willed We verily could make it bitter. Why then, give ye not thanks? 70 Have you seen the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it you who have produced its tree or is it We who have produced it? 72 We have made it to be a reminder and a benefit for the wayfarers. 73 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
