Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
