Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ All whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth proclaims the Purity of Allah, the King, the Most Pure, the Most Honourable, the Wise. 1 He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Quran, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad SAW). And verily, they had been before in mainfest error; 2 As well as (to confer all these benefits upon) others of them, who have not already joined them: And He is exalted in Might, Wise. 3 This is Allah’s munificence, which He may give to whomever He wills; and Allah is Extremely Munificent. 4 Those who were charged with bearing the Torah, but did not do so are like an ass carrying a load of books. How unfortunate are those who belie the sign of God. God does not guide the wrongdoers. 5 Say: 'O you who are Jews, if you claim that of all people, you alone are the guided by Allah, then long for death if you are truthful' 6 But they will never long for it because of all that their own hands have sent before, and Allah is Aware of evil-doers. 7 Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do." 8
