Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ By the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 'When will the Day of Resurrection be' he asks, 6 So when vision is dazzled 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" 10 No, there is no refuge. 11 With your Lord alone shall on that day be the place of rest. 12 On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue with it to hasten it; 16 Ours it is to gather it, and to recite it. 17 And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran's) recital. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 No! But you love the immediate 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 Some faces, that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty);- 22 Looking at their Lord (Allah); 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 dreading some great affliction. 25 But, when (the soul) reaches the collar bone 26 and it is said, 'Who is an enchanter?' 27 And he knoweth that it is the parting; 28 and is enwrapped in the pangs of death 29 On that Day you will be driven to your Lord. 30
