Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 separating one from another, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 the living and the dead? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
