Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
