The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By [the winds] that pluck out vehemently 1 By the meteors rushing, 2 by those that swim serenely 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 And then they manage the affair, 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state? 10 Even if we should be decayed bones? 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 and then, lo, they will be fully awakened [to the truth]! 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself 18 [If so,] then I shall guide thee towards [a cognition of] thy Sustainer, so that [henceforth] thou wilt stand in awe [of Him].'" 19 So he showed him the greater sign; 20 But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 and gathered his people together 23 then said: 'I am your lord, the most high' 24 So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First. 25 In this there is a lesson for those who have fear of God. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
