Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
