The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
