The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
