The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe unto the scrimpers: 1 those who, when they are to receive their due from [other] people, demand that it be given in full 2 but who, when they measure or weigh for others, give less than their due. 3 Do such people not realize that they will be raised up, 4 On a grievous day, 5 A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 No indeed! Verily the deeds of the wicked are in the Record locked up in the prison-house! 7 And what do you know, how (wretched) the Sijjeen is! 8 (It is) a marked Book. 9 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 10 Who give the lie to the day of judgment. 11 And none deny it except every sinful transgressor. 12 Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old. 13 No indeed! The truth is that their hearts have become rusted on account of their evil deeds. 14 On the Day of Judgment, they will certainly be barred from the mercy of their Lord. 15 Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. 16 and who will be told, "This is what you had called a lie". 17 Indeed the record of the virtuous is in the highest place, the Illiyin. 18 Would that you knew what Illiyin is! 19 a written record, 20 Which is witnessed by the close ones. 21 Most surely the righteous shall be in bliss, 22 On couches face to face. 23 thou knowest in their faces the radiancy of bliss 24 They will be given to drink of pure wine, sealed. 25 Its seal is upon musk; and for this should those who crave be eager. 26 and its mixture is Tasneem, 27 a source [of bliss] whereof those who are drawn close unto God shall drink. 28 The sinners laughed at the believers 29 And winked at one another as they passed by them; 30 And when they went back to their people turned to make fun of them; 31 And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." 32 Whereas they were not sent over them as watchers. 33 So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers, 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? 36
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
