Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
