Surely, God will not forgive the ascribing of partners to Him. He forgives whoever He will for anything other than that. Whoever ascribes partners to God has strayed far indeed. 116 In His place they invoke only females (the pagan deities); and instead of Him they invoke Satan the obstinate rebel 117 whom Allah has cursed and he (satan) said: 'Indeed, I will take to myself an appointed portion of Your worshipers, 118 And surely I will lead them astray, and surely I will arouse desires in them, and surely I will command them and they will cut the cattle' ears, and surely I will command them and they will change Allah's creation. Whoso chooseth Satan for a patron instead of Allah is verily a loser and his loss is manifest. 119 Satan promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion. 120 These are they whose abode is hell, and they shall not find any refuge from it. 121 But those who believe and do good, We shall cause them to enter the Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Here they will abide for ever. This is Allah's promise in truth and whose word is truer than Allah's? 122 Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper. 123 And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed. 124 And who can be better in religion than he who submitteth his countenance unto Allah, and is sincere, and followeth the faith of Ibrahim, the upright. And Allah took Ibrahim for a friend. 125 And all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to God; and everything is well within the compass of God. 126
