Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82
