The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily your God is One. 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
