The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the pages are made public 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 where then are you going? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
