Al-Jumu'ah 2 of 2
O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know. 9 Then when the (Jumu'ah) Salat (prayer) is finished, you may disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah (by working, etc.), and remember Allah much, that you may be successful. 10 And when they see some trade or sport, they move towards it and leave you standing delivering the sermon; proclaim, “That which is with Allah, is better than sport and trade; and the sustenance of Allah is the best.” 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Friday (Al-Jumu'ah). Sent down in Medina after The Column (Al-Suff) before Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
