Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
