Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 And a fish swallowed him, and he was reproaching himself. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish until the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. 147 And they believed, therefor We gave them comfort for a while. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
