Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
