On the day when We shall summon all men with their record, whoso is given his book in his right hand - such will read their book and they will not be wronged a shred. 71 Whoever is blind* in this life will be blind in the Hereafter, and even more astray. (* To the truth – disbelieving.) 72 They indeed sought to entice you away from what We revealed to you, hoping that you might invent something else in Our name; and then they would have accepted you as a close friend. 73 Indeed, had We not strengthened you, you might have inclined to them a little, 74 then We would have let you taste the double of life and death; and you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And Verily, they were about to frighten you so much as to drive you out from the land. But in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after you, except for a little while. 76 [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration. 77
