Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
