Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
