Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
