The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60
