And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, 95 Those who ascribe another God along with Allah; so they will soon come to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
