Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the Gardens of Pleasure. 34 What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? 35 What ails you? How ill you judge! 36 Do you have a book from which you study 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 Or do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if they speak truly. 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes will be cast down and they will be covered in shame; they were bidden to prostrate themselves, when they were safe and sound [but they did not obey]. 43 Let Me alone with him who belieth this discourse; step by step We lead them on when they perceive not. 44 for, behold, though I may give them rein for a while, My subtle scheme is exceedingly firm! 45 Or is it that [they fear lest] thou ask them for a reward, [O Prophet,] so that they would be burdened with debt [if they listened to thee]? 46 Or that they possess the hidden, so they are writing it? 47 Wait patiently for your Lord's judgement; do not be like the man who, having been swallowed by a whale, called out in distress. 48 Had it not been for a favour from his Lord he would have been cast blame-worthy on a barren plain. 49 His Lord therefore chose him and made him among those deserving His proximity. 50 And indeed the disbelievers seem as if they would topple you with their evil gaze when they hear the Qur’an, and they say, “He is indeed insane.” 51 although this is nothing but an Exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world. 52
