Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
HA MIM. 1 THE BESTOWAL from on high of this divine writ issues from God, the Almighty, the Wise. 2 Indeed in the heavens and the earth are signs for believers. 3 And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty. 4 As there are signs in the alternation of night and day, and in rain that God sends with which He revives the earth once dead, as there are in the changing of the winds, for people who can understand. 5 These are the revelations of Allah which We rehearse unto thee with truth: in what discourse then, after Allah and His revelations, will they believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar 7 Who heareth the revelations of Allah rehearsed unto him, and yet persisteth with stiff-neckedness as though he heard them not. Announce thou unto him, then, a torment afflictive. 8 And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Quran), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment. 9 Before them is hell, and there shall not avail them aught of what they earned, nor those whom they took for guardians besides Allah, and they shall have a grievous punishment. 10 This is guidance; for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord the anger of the painful punishment awaits them. 11
