Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
