[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
