۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
