The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
