The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
