۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
