Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
