The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
