And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Moses said: "That is what we were looking for." So the two turned back, retracing their footsteps, 64 So they found a bondman* from amongst Our (chosen) bondmen, to whom We had given mercy from Us, and had bestowed the inspired knowledge from Ourselves. (* Hazrat Khidr – peace be upon him.) 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He answered: "You will surely not be able to bear with me. 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said: 'If you follow me, you must not question me about anything till I myself speak to you concerning it' 70
