And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. 200 who will not believe in it, until they see the painful chastisement 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
